San Telmo
Sunday I went to see Plaza Dorego in San Telmo. Very picturesque place with lots of vendors and after we watched ‘El Indio’ doing his number we ate at a nearby restaurant. While eating, we watched another tango show right in the restaurant and found out that the girl who performed was from California. And so we added a new name to the list of friends that we made in Buenos Aires.
On the way back home we chose to pass through St. Martin park, our shortest route to the apartment. We made only one more stop to help a new friend who looked very thirsty. Lately the temperature rises over 30 degrees and today it went up to 35.
Wednesday we’ll go to milonga ‘La Garufa’. I’m looking forward to a great demonstration by one of the best dancers in Buenos Aires, Fernando Gracia (Mundial de Tango Escenario 2007 champion) and his partner Paula Ballesteros. But first, few pictures from San Telmo and Recoleta.
